Naomi Eyers started her singing career as a recording session singer and singing in contemporary pop/R&B bands. She conceived and created cabaret group The Fabulous Singlettes in Sydney in 1986 and went on to receive "Pick of The Fringe" that year at Edinburgh Festival then successful seasons on London's West End. BBC and Channel 4 television specials as well as cabaret seasons in Berlin, Hamburg, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Sydney, Melbourne and Vienna. Naomi has had extensive experience in the studio and in television in Australia, Europe and UK. She has sung R&B/soul/jazz and was a featured vocalist in Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London through the mid 1990s. She has appeared in solo cabaret in London's West End and Adelaide Cabaret Festival where she also performed with the jazz vocal group, Women With Standards who also enjoyed sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and won awards there and Australia. Naomi continues to regularly perform as a cabaret artist and jazz/soul singer in Europe, UK and Australia.Naomi studied Jazz Performance in Voice at Elder School of Music, Adelaide University, She has led master classes at Gulidhall School of Music in London in contemporary vocal styles. She was a lecturer in voice at the Contemporary Music Course at TAFE SA for 6 years and as well as teaching singing and voice at Flinders University Drama Centre and Victorian College of the Arts using the Estill model.
