Nova Hughes is a professional singer and vocal coach based in Essex, UK. Nova trained in Acting and Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy London and went on to perform in London's West End . Nova is currently course leader of Musical Theatre at Colchester Institute, UCC where she lectures in voice, singing and music theatre. She has also lectured at The Urdang Academy, London and the University of Venice (IUAV). Nova works with freelance clients who are seeking to improve their technique, prepare for an audition, preparation for the CFP exam, troubleshooting, work on specific vocal goals or just with clients who want to enjoy and learn more about their voice as a regular hobby. With a background in performing Nova' s credits include: Oliver! London Palladium, (West End), A Small Green Space (English National Opera in association with the Lillian Bayliss programme) The Wiz, Girlfriends and Gypsy (Judi Dench Theatre). Nova has extensive cruising experience and was lead production singer for Celebrity Cruises (Opryland Nashville), performing on MV Galaxy, Mercury, Century and Millennium, and also for the prestigious Yachts of Seabourn on the MV Spirit and Pride.
