Trainer Profile

Caroline performed professionally in opera, recital, concert and musical theatre for a number of years before discovering her passion for teaching! She now lectures in musical theatre singing at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (Glasgow) and across a range of genres at Cardinal Newman College (Preston). She has also taught at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She has her own private practice in Preston and Bury, and has travelled nationwide to provide vocal support to professional performers, theatres and public speakers. Her students have appeared on Broadway, in the West End and national and international tours, as well as in film and television.Caroline is a fellow of AdvanceHE (Higher Education Adademy) and holds BA (Hons) Musical Studies, MMus (Advanced Opera) and PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Arts Education, all from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Further Education Teaching from Stow College.Caroline qualified as an Estill Master Trainer in October 2006.
