Karen Perta, MS, CCC-SLP is a voice pathologist and singing voice specialist who has performed over 6,000 laryngoscopies. She holds a B.A. with a minor in voice performance from West Chester University of PA and a M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University. She presents research, lectures and workshops on various topics related to voice physiology at the local, national, and international levels. She has prepared several successful CFPs and CMT-Cs for certification testing. Karen also has a background performing in local theater (plays, musicals, voice acting) and is a current doctoral student in speech and hearing science/singing health at The Ohio State University.
