Estill Voice Trainer Profile

Viv was born in Britain and now lives mainly in Catalonia Spain where she teaches vocal skills to singers, actors, voice therapists, and other voice professionals. She is head of Singing at Eòlia Escola Superior d’Arte Dramàtic where she teaches repertoire and performing skills on the four year degree course in which Estill work is fully integrated. As a music therapist Viv has been teaching vocal skills and creative improvisation since 2003 in the Master in Music Therapy at the University of Barcelona and has been collaborating as lecturer in the Master of Investigation in Musicology and Education at the Universitat Autonoma since 2009. Viv first discovered Jo Estill’s work in 1995 and trained with vanguard estillians Paul Farrington, Anne Marie Speed, Maureen Scott, Kiereen Locke, Kerry Obert and Steve Chicurel as well as assisting various courses taught by Jo Estill herself. Her work as course instructor and examiner in Estill is currently based in Spain, France and Portugal. Viv nació en Gran Bretaña actualmente vive Cataluña, España, donde enseña recursos vocales a cantantes, actores, logopedas, y otros profesionales de la voz. Es directora del departamento de canto en Eòlia Escola Superior d’Art Dramàtic Barcelona enseñando repertorio y interpretación de canciones en el curso de grado superior donde el trabajo de Estill esta plenamente integrado. Como musicoterapeuta ha estado enseñando recursos vocales e improvisación creativa desde 2003en el Master de Musicoterapia de la Universidad de Barcelona y es profesora invitada en el Master d’Investigació en Musicología i Educació de la Universitat Autonoma desde 2009. Viv descubrió el trabajo de Jo Estill por primera vez en 1995 formandose con vanguard estillians Paul Farrington, Anne Marie Speed, Maureen Scott, Kiereen Locke, Kerry Obert y Steve Chicurel además de asistir varios cursos impartido por Jo Estill misma. Su trabajo como presentadora/formadora (CCI) y examinadora esta basado en España, Francia y Portugal.
