Heather Hitchcock is a voice teacher/vocal coach and worship leader serving the greater Columbus, OH area, specializing in Contemporary Commercial Music (including musical theater, pop, country, and worship). With 12 years of private and group teaching experience and 30 years of professional singing experience, Heather desires to empower vocalists with artistic versatility, performance confidence, and superior craftsmanship through healthy vocal technique in effort to create and deliver a dynamic performance unlike any other.As a vocal coach, Heather teaches out of her private studio, One Voice Studios, as well as on location for live recordings, studio sessions, vocal workshops and conferences throughout North America. Heather has been a guest lecturer for local high school choral music programs, as well as higher education institutions such as Capital University (OH), Cedarville University (OH) and Ohio Christian University (OH). Additionally, she is a vocal consultant to local theater companies and churches in Ohio.Trained in Estill Voice Training since 2006 and obtaining Estill Figure Proficiency Certification in 2015 followed by earning her Master Trainer Certification in 2018, Heather Hitchcock has applied these techniques to her own vocal craft as a solo artist, worship leader, inspirational speaker, and worship consultant with dramatic and remarkable results evidenced by improved vocal health, pitch, control and clarity, as well as reduced vocal fatigue and increased endurance during rehearsals and performances.
