With the background of classical music training since the age of seven, Cherry has been awarded with an Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) in singing recital. She then received Estill Voice Training under the mentorship of Estill Mentor & Course Instructor with Service Distinction and Advanced Testing Privileges, Naomi Eyers. Cherry was certified as an Estill Master Trainer in 2018 and regularly runs Estill Practice Group / Introductory Workshops for voice enthusiasts. Cherry also teaches singing and acts as vocal coach for musical theatre production, including the recent "Dani Girl" produced by the Musical Trio. Originated from Hong Kong, Cherry is trilingual and teaches/performs in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Cherry performed in various performances of The Hong Kong 3 Arts Musical Institute, including "Can't Help It…My Feet Love to Dance / If Again" in 2008 and “The Pajama Game” in 2009. She was also the female lead of musical revue “Totally Sondheim” directed by Glen Chin in 2011. Cherry also produced a number of children musical theatre shows, including “Disney’s 101 Dalmatians” and “Seussical”.
