Leigh is a professional voice teacher based in Colchester, Essex. She has 20+ years experience as a jobbing CCM lead vocalist in function bands, vintage trio, duo and as a solo and session singer. Establishing her private practice as LMT Singing School in 2012, she has recently expanded and developed the business and moved to online teaching as Colchester Voice Academy. Leigh provides professional training for a mix of professional singers, actors and amateur singers of all ages and levels, providing one to one lessons, group classes and workshops. Leigh wants to empower you and will help you understand how your voice works and how to achieve your personal vocal goals, whether you want to become a marketable recording artist, stage performer or front a band. She will help equip you with the tools to develop your singing skills in any and all styles. Whether you are working towards an audition/exam/tour or just want to sing for the love of singing, she welcomes an abundance of people from different walks of life. She is a true believer of Jo Estill's motto "Everyone has a beautiful voice!" Leigh is also interested in all elements of vocal science and is continuing her studies into vocal rehabilitation and speech and language therapy. Leigh is also the host of the Vocal Freedom Podcast.
