Sonia currently works as a vocal coach at "Memory" musical theatre school in Barcelona, but she also coaches independent projects such as the "SP3" live show (linked to the catalan kids TV channel "Super Tres") and the catalan version of the "Spring Awakening" musical. As a singer, she is a member of the a cappella group "Coda", which has performed throughout europe, including Spain, England, Germany and also in the United States.With over 10 years of experience with the Estill method, Sonia has been involved with EVTS courses conducted in Spain and England and has been fortunate to work with great masters in the industry such as Paul Farrington, Anne-Marie Speed, Helen Rowson and Viv Manning.Her artistic training was conducted mainly in musical theatre schools, "Memory" in Barcelona and "LCCM" in the UK (London Centre of Contemporary Music). She has performed as a music theatre actress and has been a paid vocalist in a number of bands covering rock, pop, jazz, blues, funk, gospel and soul.Her previous employment included teaching vocal technique at different musical theatre schools, such as "Eolia" and "Company & Company". In addition, she was part of the teaching team of the second edition of the television singing talent show "Operación Triunfo". For seven years she also lived in England, where she worked as Vocal Coach at the "Arts Educational School", a leading drama school in London.
