Trainer Profile

I am a professional musician living in Kuopio, Eastern Finland. I am a singing teacher, vocal coach and choir conductor with 25+ years of working experience. I became a Master of Music from Sibelius Academy (Aalto University of Arts, Helsinki) in 1998. I have also studied in the master program of Arts Management in the University of Arts. I became an Estil Master Teacher in 2015.I have worked as a church musician 1992-2010 (in Helsinki area and in Tampere), as a choir conductor 1992-, as a singer 1995-, as a singing and music teacher 2002-, an arts manager 2007- and an entrepreneur 2009-. Concert- and record producing and adminstrative work were and still are a part of my work. I have classical training as a singer but I teach contemporary commercial music styles too. I am the artistic director of three choirs: VIMMA-kuoro, Vox Polaris and malechoir Kuopio-Kvartetti.In 2009 I founded my music school Maestra in Kuopio. In Maestra I have created and developed group singing education.
