This workshop is presented interactive lecture style with practical \'doing\' exercises, with group participation throughout, to understand options of how to train and learn mastery of your voice using the Estill Voice Model. This course will will be presented live via video conference in 4x 90minute segments starting at 10am and finishing at 5.15pm.
Exercises in awareness regarding common voice hurdles: such as how and why you might experience voice/register breaks and how to override them, unwanted nasality, switching between vocal styles, identifying and understanding common tensions, providing some practical diagnostic tools for participants even from this one day course.
Along the journey we uncover and unpick many common \'myths and mysteries\' about the voice
We will also cover the basics of Anatomy and Physiology and Acoustics of the voice
The course will include an Introduction to Voiceprint Plus, a software that is available to give you visual feedback about your voice and vocal control.
Overview of the Figures for Voice and Voice Qualities of the Estill Voice Training Model.
Course participants will receive an Attendance Certificate.
This course is appropriate for singers, actors, singing teachers, voice coaches, choir members, choral singers, professional and non-professional voice users who have not attended any other Estill courses in the past.
