This specialised course is for those who have completed the Estill Levels 1 & 2 course and are wanting to go further and deeper into the Estill model and its application.
The focus will be on Figure and Voice Quality combinations & permutations that are a requirement for today’s professional performer no matter what the genre: Pop, Rock, Jazz, Music Theatre and Classical and also spoken voice.
As we will be building on the basic Estill Model, participants will need to be familiar and confident with the Estill Voice Qualities and Figures, and have a high level of differentiated, independent control of vocal tract structures.
This 3 day course will cover development of technique and repertoire, including:
- Permutations & Variations: adapting Voice Qualities for style and genre
- Sing High,Sing Soft: mastery of this skill ensures artistry in all genres
- Extension of Qualities beyond natural range
- Diction for Performers:clarity and breath control
- Estill Figures that facilitate vocal health
- Remediation for injured or tired voices
- Song mapping - From craft to artistry
- Masterclass on final day
This 2.5 day course is not suitable for beginners and it is a requirement that all participants have completed at least 1 complete Estill 5 day course.
