The Level 1 and 2 Course is for anyone who would like to improve their singing or speaking voice—singers, actors, vocal coaches, drama instructors, speech-language pathologists and other vocal health professionals. Level 1: Figures for Voice Control™ teaches the Craft of speaking and singing and employs exercises that will give you new vocal options for all styles. Level 2: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™ combines Figure options from Level 1 to produce six voice qualities--Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera, and Belting. This course offers a clear understanding of the voice’s limitless possibilities, along with how to keep it vibrant and healthy. This live course explores each Estill Figure (vocal structure) and Estill Voice Quality (“recipe”) and includes:

What are the 6 Estill Voice Qualities of the Level 2?

  • • The 6 voice qualities are: Speech, Falsetto, Sobbing, Twang, Opera, Belting
  • • These are conveyed, practiced and translated into language and singing with the help of the 13 Figures.

Books & Estill Voiceprint:

The Level 1 and Level 2 books are purchased separately via registration on the Estillvoice.com website. The physical books are then sent to the classroom location bundled with all book orders. Alternatively, a PDF of the 2 books can be purchased directly when registering on Estillvoice.com. They are printable. I use the software Estill Voiceprint in the course. This software is offered at a particularly reasonable price when booking the course. I recommend buying these as we use them and as they are more expensive otherwise: If you don't receive the registration confirmation email, please check the spam for a moment.

Continuing education credits:

  • You will receive a certificate of participation from Estill Voice Training which will be registered for your further certification steps.
  • The standards for the recognition of continuing education credits are complied with. It is possible to give continuing education points in certain circumstances....

Different movement patterns and their effects on 13 figures in vocalization, voice health and their variations are discussed and practically imparted in implementation. This answers many questions:

  • • - How can I produce more voice colors?
  • • - How do I get nasality under control?
  • • - How do I get more control?
  • • - How can I estimate my effort?

You are prepared directly for Level 2, where the vocal qualities are developed: Speech, Twang, Falsetto & Sobbing, Belting, Opera. We work here with small numbers of participants in a nice personal atmosphere. This ensures that everyone gets the chance to train the technical exercises individually. LEVEL 2 The 6 Qualities of Estill Voice Training The figures from level 1 are put together in different voice qualities and their variations.

What are the 6 Estill Voice Qualities of the Level 2?

  • • The 6 voice qualities are: Speech, Falsetto, Sobbing, Twang, Opera, Belting
  • • These are conveyed, practiced and translated into language and singing with the help of the 13 Figures.


Course Topics: The composition of different figures conveys voice qualities of very different character forms with pinpoint accuracy. A wide range of forms of expression is possible. The scientific basis, practical exercises, vocal health and implementation in everyday life are discussed and imparted in practice. This answers many questions:
