Introduction to Estill Voice Training
Have you heard of Estill Voice Training but want to know more about what is involved?
Are you looking to attend a Level 1&2 Course but would like a bit more information about it before you embark on your journey?
Are you a voice professional wanting to know more about how the voice works?
This course is aimed at pretty much anyone who uses their voice - for classroom teachers, performers, public speakers, voice teachers, choir leaders, vocational singers, speech & language therapists, sales people, and so on.
This interactive course will give you the chance to explore your voice from the comfort of your own home. Be prepared to make silly noises as we delve into the world of vocal anatomy and physiology.
There will be the chance to work on a few pieces of text or a short part of a song, so please have something prepared if you’d like to be considered to demonstrate to the group. There is no pressure to do this!
During the 4hr Introductory Workshop, we will explore the 13 figures for voice and the 6 voice qualities – Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera and Belt. There will be breaks to grab a drink and have a move about.
