Come along and see what your voice can do!

This interactive, playful workshop covers all the big ideas of the Estill Model. We will explore the 13 figures for voice and also the 6 voice qualities: Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera and Belt.

Estill Voice Training is helping singers and actors all over the world from all genres realise their full vocal potential. It’s a scientific approach with emphasis on training structures of the voice in isolation for maximum artistic freedom.

The session is aimed at anyone who wants to learn more about how the voice works, singers of all genres and all speakers (e.g. actors, teachers, vicars, etc.), voice teachers, choral directors and speech and language therapists. Estill is not a school of singing but a resource of information and training that can be adapted to any voice work.

This workshop is also excellent as preparation for one-to-one voice lessons with a certified Estill instructor or as an overview before an Estill Level 1 and 2 course. Participants can use this course as a springboard for additional work on specific Estill figures for voice.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have:

  • had an anatomical overview of the voice
  • explored all 13 Estill figures for voice
  • explored the 6 Estill voice qualities
  • gained an overview of the Estill Model
