This course is for anyone who would like to improve their singing or speaking voice—singers, actors, vocal coaches, drama instructors, speech-language pathologists, and other vocal health professionals. Level 1: Figures for Voice™ teaches the Craft of speaking and singing. During this course students are introduced to 13 vocal structures that influence voice quality. Each structure produces a range of different vocal sound effects. The Figures for Voice are exercises used to develop predictable control of each structure’s options. The skills developed in Level 1 will help you add strength, clarity and stamina to your voice! Throughout the day, new voice skills are practiced in small group sessions. Participants will be given the chance to explore Figure applications for individual repertoire and case studies in open coaching sessions. There will also be ample time for questions and discussion.
Ce cours s'adresse à tous ceux qui souhaitent améliorer leur voix chantée ou parlée - chanteurs, acteurs, entraîneurs vocaux, professeurs d'art dramatique, orthophonistes et autres professionnels de la santé vocale. Niveau 1: Figures for Voice ™ enseigne le métier de parler et de chanter. Au cours de ce cours, les étudiants découvrent 13 structures anatomiques et vocales qui influencent la qualité de la voix. Chaque structure produit une gamme d'effets sonores vocaux différents. Les Figures for Voice sont des exercices utilisés pour développer un contrôle prévisible des options de chaque structure. Les compétences développées au niveau 1 vous aideront à ajouter de la force, de la clarté et de l'endurance à votre voix! Tout au long de la journée, de nouvelles compétences vocales sont pratiquées en petits groupes. Les participants auront la chance d'explorer les applications de la figure pour le répertoire individuel et les études de cas lors de séances de coaching ouvertes. Il y aura également suffisamment de temps pour les questions et les discussions. Les compétences développées durant le 1e niveau donneront à votre voix puissance, clarté et endurance!
Dieser Kurs richtet sich an alle, die ihre Gesangs- oder Sprechstimme verbessern möchten - Sänger, Schauspieler, Gesangstrainer, Schauspiellehrer, Laier und Profis, Sprachpathologen, Pädagogen, Chorleiter, Logopäden, Phoniater HNO-Ärzte und andere Vokalmediziner. Stufe 1: Figures for Voice ™ lehrt das Sprechen und Singen. Während dieses Kurses werden die Teilnehmer in 13 Stimmstrukturen eingeführt, die die Sprachqualität beeinflussen. Jede Struktur erzeugt eine Reihe verschiedener Vokal-Soundeffekte. Die Zahlen für die Stimme sind Übungen, mit denen eine vorhersehbare Kontrolle über die Optionen jeder Struktur entwickelt wird. Man beschafft sich mit physiologische Strukturen, deren Funktionen vermittelt denen und trainiert wie z.B. die Stimmlippen, Taschenfalten, Schildknorpel, Ringknorpel, Aryepiglottischer Sphinkter, Velum... Die in Level 1 entwickelten Fähigkeiten helfen Ihnen dabei, Ihrer Stimme Kraft, Klarheit und Ausdauer zu verleihen! Im Laufe des Tages werden in kleinen Gruppen neue Sprach- und Gesangsfähigkeiten geübt. Die Teilnehmer erhalten die Möglichkeit, in offenen Coaching Figurenanwendungen für individuelles Repertoire und Fallstudien zu untersuchen. Es wird auch genügend Zeit für Fragen und Diskussionen geben. The Estill Mentor and Course Instructor Marleen van Dijk will teach in English, German and French. Discussions and questions may occur in any of these languages. Participants may purchase the PDF Workbooks in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French or Russian. Supporting handout materials are also available in English, German and French languages. The practice group and open sessions will also have multi language possibilities.

Course Instructor Marleen van Dijk EMT-EMCI-TP offers years of experience both for singing as voice rehabilitation, speech pathology knowledge for singers, actors, speakers, coaches in very divers singing and speaking styles. She is used to teach this Estill Voice Course in English, German, Dutch and French.
After the registration form and PDF purchase ($70.00 USD non-refundable paid to Estill Voice International) are complete, you will receive an invoice for the course fee with payment instructions. Your reservation in this course is not secure until course fee payment is complete.
Cancellation & Refund
If the Level 1 and 2 course is cancelled by the instructor participants will receive a full refund of the course fee. The refund does not include PDFs purchased online. PDFs are non-refundable. A full course fee refund will be given to participant cancellations before January 10th 2021. A 50% refund will be given for participant cancellations till January 30th 2021. No refunds will be given for cancellations after 1st of february 2021. In lieu of a participant cancellation, reservation in a future Level 1 and 2 course may be negotiated at the discretion of the instructors.
