This one day workshop is for anyone with an interest in learning about the voice: singers, teachers, actors, clinical voice professionals, singing teachers, etc. It is suitable for those new to the Estill Voice Model and will introduce participants to the concepts and principles that underpin ESTILL Voice Training.
The information is presented in a relaxed and interactive lecture format with plenty of opportunities for discussion and questions. There will be exercises and activities through the day to help develop awareness of how the voice works and of common vocal challenges - and the Estill solutions.
With a focus on vocal health and efficiency, we will debunk common myths about the voice and look at ways of working ‘smarter not harder’ with our voices to improve stamina and projection, extend our vocal range, vocal control and vocal colour options.
The day’s program will include:
Basic vocal anatomy
How the voice works
How to take care of your voice/vocal hygiene
Estill approach to common problems
An overview of Estill Voice Training
