Are you a classically trained singer wanting to move more easily between baroque music, operatic repertoire and contemporary music? A musical theatre performer looking to extend your repertoire? An actor searching for a way to integrate the singing voice with the speaking voice? Estill Voice Training is an innovative model of voice production without aesthetic bias, making it possible to adjust the muscular configuration of the voice for more authentic expression in different styles.
This introductory workshop (in English with translation as required) gives an overview of the concepts within the Estill Model, dips into specific exercises and demonstrates different voice qualities with the aid of videos, sound recordings and spectral analysis. An Open Session at the end of the day gives you the opportunity to apply Estill tools to the repertoire you are currently working on.
