This workshop is presented interactive lecture style with practical \'doing\' exercises, with group participation throughout, to understand options of how to train and control your beautiful voice using the Estill Voice Model.
Exercises in awareness regarding common voice hurdles: such as how and why you might experience voice/register breaks and how to override them, unwanted nasality, switching between vocal styles, tongue root tension, providing some practical diagnostic tools for participants even from this one day course.
Unpicking \'myths and mysteries\' about the voice
Beginner basics of Anatomy and Physiology and Acoustics of the voice
Introduction to Voiceprint for visual feedback
Overview of the Figures for Voice and Voice Qualities of the Estill Voice Training Model.
The last section of the day will feature some live coaching for participants to present vocal \'challenges\' and see the model in action as an effective teaching tool.
This course is open to a maximum 20 participants and is aimed at singers, actors, singing teachers, voice coaches, choir members, choral singers, professional and non-professional voice users who have not attended any other Estill courses in the past. Early bird discount for parties who book before June 14th 2019, reduced rate of £75. Student discounts also available for those in full time education age 16+.
