This course is for anyone who would like to improve their singing or speaking voice—singers, actors, vocal coaches, drama instructors, speech-language pathologists, and other vocal health professionals. Level 1: Figures for Voice™ teaches the Craft of speaking and singing. During this course students are introduced to 13 vocal structures that influence voice quality. Each structure produces a range of different vocal sound effects. The Figures for Voice are exercises used to develop predictable control of each structure’s options. The skills developed in Level 1 will help you add strength, clarity and stamina to your voice! Throughout the day, new voice skills are practiced in small group sessions. Participants will be given the chance to explore Figure applications for individual repertoire and case studies in open coaching sessions. There will also be ample time for questions and discussion.
Course Components:
1) Foundations of Estill Voice Training (beta version)
Foundations of EVT is the online, self-directed component to this unique hybrid Level 1 course. Participants will receive access to the Estill Voice Online Academy after EVI registration and payment are complete beginning June 1. Participants must complete "Foundations of EVT" before July 4, 2021.
2) Live Level 1 Figures for Voice Control
The hybrid Level 1 course continues in real-time on July 5 - 6, with live lectures and practice sessions. This course will NOT be recorded. Access to the Zoom link will be sent after participants complete the online "Foundations" component (before July 4, 2021).

1) Level 1 Workbook (PDF version delivered via email immediately once registration is complete)
2) Supporting Handouts (provided via email by instructors)
3) Voiceprint Plus 7.0, spectral analysis, will be used throughout this course and is beneficial as a learning and teaching tool for all participants. You may purchase Voiceprint Plus for MAC and PC for $55.00 (a -25% discount!) at the time of registration. Voiceprint Plus is highly recommended for this course, especially anyone interested in certification and further practice.
Certificate of Attendance:
A Level 1 Certificate of Attendance will be issued upon completion of both components of the course. This certificate is part of the requirements for Certification with Estill Voice International.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
A full refund of the course fee will be granted for participant cancellations prior to June 1, 2021. A 50% refund will be granted for participant cancellations after June 1, 2021. No refunds will be granted after June 21, 2021. In the event the live portion of the course is cancelled by the instructors, a partial refund or a reservation at a future course will be offered. The Course Resources Fee of $40.00 USD, including the Level 1 PDF Workbook, is non-refundable. Voiceprint Plus is non-returnable and non-refundable.
