Figures for Voice Control
The Estill Voice Training™ Level One Course is a great start and will provide a firm foundation. Speech Therapists who attend our courses are often impressed by how our curriculum connects and integrates the separate subject areas that relate to voice in a clinical training program: anatomy, physiology, acoustics, phonetics, audiology, speech science, etc.. The course content will give you new treatment tools and lead you to new perspectives re why more "traditional" therapy techniques have stood the test of time. Level Two is a "must" for the voice therapist working with injured singers. Get started with any of our Level One courses, or watch for one specifically designated for clinical professionals.
Clinical Software
True to our motto, Voice Training with Vision, we have adapted principles of Estill Voice Training™ and the value of visual and aural feedback from Estill Voiceprint Plus™ into a stand-alone voice therapy practice product, Virtual Voice Trainer™. No Estill expertise is required to use this program with its pre-loaded exercises (male and female models included for each task) and intuitive sound analysis and "meter" displays!
Another Estill motto, Always use Most Comfortable Vocal Effort, speaks to the ease we should feel as we speak and sing. Ease was the motivation for our development of Voice Evaluation Suite™, a program built on the sound analysis platform of Voiceprint™. This program automates the collection and analysis of standard measures of voice performance and capacity, useful in screening, documenting severity, and measuring changes over time.
All of our software programs are designed to run on Microsoft Windows (2000, XP, Vista,7). These programs can be run on Intel based Macintosh computers with Boot Camp or Parallels Desktop.
"I wanted to write and thank you for such a great weekend and such a fascinating course. I was enthralled by the entire concept and approach. You also really gave me something that I needed at that moment and I'm grateful. My season of marathon singing began last weekend and I had a chance to put what I had learned to some very practical use. And it worked beautifully. I'm finding all sorts of new places and colours and choices. And the public reaction was immediate to what I was doing! Yow!"
