Marni Nixon to be featured at the 2009 Estill World Voice Symposium in Boulder!

The Fourth Estill World Voice Symposium will be held in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, August 7 - 9, 2009. The international symposium committee, chaired by Robert Sussuma, includes Matthew Reeve from the UK, Helen Rowson from Spain, Jenny Caire from Australia, and Kimberly Steinhauer from the USA. Sussuma, also the executive director of the Estill Voice Institute in Boulder, is pleased to announce that singing legend, Marni Nixon, will be a featured performer at the Gala Concert on August 8. Nixon, a lifetime Estill enthusiast, is known as the voice of Hollywood because of her singing for Audrey Hepburn in "My Fair Lady," and Natalie Wood in "West Side Story." This concert will spotlight Estill Voice Trained performers from around the world and is open to the public. Sussuma also reported that the Hotel Boulderado will be the symposium venue. The Boulderado was one of the first hotels in Boulder and is a member of the National Trust's Historic Hotels of America.
