This 2 day workshop will provide CMTs, CMT-Cs, and CCI-Cs an opportunity to meet with Mary McDonald Klimek, CCI with Service Distinction and Vice President of Estill Voice International, for an intensive but informal certification education opportunity. The program will be tailored to participant interest. Suggested topics for Q&A include: in-depth Anatomy, Acoustic Analysis, Estill research questions, the place of physiology in vocal pedagogy, discussion of Key Concepts such as MCVE and free-variance of breath, and Diction at a Distance.
Enrollment will be limited to 20 (the number of people Mary's tables, round and otherwise, will accommodate). Participants are welcome to arrive in the Boston area on Friday evening; we plan to wrap up early enough on Sunday for people to fly home on Sunday. It is suggested that Logan travelers take the Logan Express bus to Woburn (an inexpensive and comfortable way to get out and in of Logan Airport). Depending upon arrival and departure times, there are 2 Klimek vehicles available to assist in meeting transportation needs. There are several hotels within 2.5 miles of Mary's house offering double occupancy room rates at ~$75 per night.
Register" Thanks to Estill Voice Training I successfully performed Edgardo in the Metropolitan Opera’s Lucia di Lammermoor & then the next night performed the Duke in Rigoletto! Estill gave me the voice tools and confidence to rise up & conquer this challenge to thunderous applause and critical acclaim."
