Certified Master Teacher (CMT) Online Prep Program

Overview:   The CMT-OPP is a 26 week, online program for students of Estill Voice Training around the world who are ready to begin the journey toward becoming a Certified Master Teacher*. The course begins this September and will finish in May 2013.

How it will work:
Part One (13 weeks), which will be focused on the Figures, will meet weekly from September 18 to December 18 and Part Two (13 weeks), focused on the Qualities, will be meet weekly from January to May 2013 (exact dates TBD).
We will meet, via Google Hangouts on Tuesdays (from 12:30 to 1:45pm EST) for our weekly class.

Each week there will be presentations from both Tom and Robert on the Figues and Qualities and teaching from the Estill point of view. You will learn what is expected in terms of videos and recordings. There will also be time for coaching and discussion.
The group is limited to 8 students only, so reserve you spot asap! (We can add a second section if enrollment exceeds 8 students.)

Learning Tracks:
The course is designed to accommodate students a different levels of certification readiness. I can be taken as a prep course with no pressure to test until the course is completed. More ambitious students can plan to take the testing DURING the time of the course. This track would be prepared to take the written exam and the Figure Portion of the VoicePrint exam between the two semesters. (The instructors will proctor the written exam and facilitate your taking the VoicePrint Portion with another CCI). The Qualities portion of the VoicePrint exam can be taken by the middle of the second semester (with another CCI). If a student passes the exams at these times the teaching videos submitted during the second half of the second semester WILL be eligible to count toward teacher observation. This will save you time and travel expenses when completing the final observation portion of the certification.

Prerequisites:
♦ completion of the CFP (VoicePrint) exam. (If you haven't done this, fear not, we'll do it with you before the semester begins)
♦ good internet connection. (Wi-fi works, direct connection is best)
♦ a Gmail account (Google "Chrome" is best to use for "Hangouts"
♦ Estill VoicePrint program (for Mac or PC)
♦ participants must have attended at least one each of the standard Estill Level 1 + 2 Courses. (2+ each is preferred!)

Tuition:
Right now, tuition will be between $4,900 and $5,400 for the entire course (or 10 payments of $600). The final price will depend on the number of students enrolled

* Although there is no guarantee of certification, you will be thoroughly prepared to take the CMT exam immediately upon completion of the course and will then be eligible to complete your teaching observation with any CCI at Estill Courses around the world. In the event that traveling for observation is not possible, teaching videos that you record during the course may count toward certification.
