Open to anyone, who took the Estill Level One course, e.g. singers, voice teachers, actors, clinical voice professionals, etc. The course begins with an introduction to the Estill Voice Model and an overview of this course. We will work us through all the voice qualities, speech, falsetto, sob, twang, belting and opera - by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing and different genres of music.

The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.

Helga Westmark & Dorte Hyldstrup are 2 of the first certified EVT - teachers in Europe. They were taught by the Founder, Jo Estill, up through the 90 `es and have worked with EVT more than 20 years. They have Service Distinctions and Testing Privileges and educate new people all through the EVT - certification system.

This Advanced 2 course is only for people who have attended Advanced 1 courses with us in Sweden /Dansforum or Stockholm/Kulturama.
Day 1: Focus on advanced qualities (Belting, Opera) + variations of all Estill qualities and  we will work on Artistry & diction. Bring different songs to work with.

We will then work through all the voice qualities, speech, falsetto, sob, twang, belting and opera – by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing and different genres of music. Level 2 in the Estill Model (6 Voice Qualities) taught by Anne-Marie Speed (London) with application to both speaking and singing.

Please note: participants MUST have completed Level 1 (12 Compulsory Figures) before attending this course.

Anne-Marie is one of the most experienced teachers and presenters of the Estill Model and one of the few that offers application to both the training of actors and singers.

Estill Voice Training (Voice Craft) es una aproximación sistemática a la enseñanza de la voz, para mejorar el rendimiento de la voz profesional cantada y hablada. Ofrece a los participantes las herramientas para descubrir la belleza en todas las voces mediante la producción de sonido a través de la práctica de los ejercicios de 13 Figuras (Nivel 1) y 6 Calidades de la Voz (Nivel 2).

Es un trabajo que trata de entrenar la voz tomando en cuenta su naturaleza como sistema dinámica de equilibrios entre la potencia (aire), la fuente (tono) y el filtro (resonancia).Se descubre como activar con independencia las estructuras en el mecanismo vocal, la cabeza y cuello y torso, y entender como afectan estos cambios al sonido y confort de la producción de la voz. El entrenamiento de Estill permite al intérprete fortalecer la voz y lograr una flexibilidad para realizar cualquier tarea vocal de forma optima, segura y saludable.

El curso combina sesiones de teoría con la práctica en grupos pequeños.

Hay la oportunidad de aplicar el trabajo a canciones y textos en sesiones Master Class.  .

Nivel 1  - Objetivos específicos:

-Conocer las diferentes maneras de utilizar la voz sin forzarla.

-Mejorar la calidad vocal al aplicar las Figuras Obligatorias.

-Ofrecer a artistas, profesionales de la voz, terapeutas y otras personas interesadas la posibilidad de encontrar nuevos “colores vocales”.

-Reducir la ansiedad ante el uso vocal profesional.

 Dirigido a: cantantes, actores, periodistas, foniatras, logopedas y, en general, personas con interés en entender y mejorar la voz.
