Open to anyone with an interest in learning about the voice,e.g.. singers, voiceteachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc. The course begins with an introduction to the Estill Voice Model with Compulsory Figures for Voice, and an overview of this course. We will work us through all the figures in Level One by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing and different genres of music.
The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.

 Este curso de 2 dias repasará las Figuras Obligatorias aprendidas en Nivel 1 y a continuación se presentarán las 6 calidades del Nivel 2. Se dirige especialmente a esos profesionales de la voz que se especializan en performance aunque está abierto a cualquier persona que quiera entender y disfrutar más de su voz.

Los asistentes tendrán la posibilidad de practicar en grupos pequeños con ayudantes titulados. Cada día habrá una sesión abierta donde los participantes podrán aplicar el sistema (trabajo) a su propia “performance” sea Pop, Jazz, Teatro Musical, Ópera o la voz hablada.

 Description

This 2 day course will revise the Obligatory Figures presented in Level 1 and introduce and practise the six voice qualities which comprise Level 2 (Speech, Falsetto, Cry/Sob, Twang, Belt and Opera. This course is open to all performers and professional voice users, doctors and speech therapists and anyone who wishes to learn more about and have fun with their voice.  Participants will have the opportunity to practise in small groups with licenced practicioners and each day there will be an ‘open session’ where they can apply the model to their own preformance in song or speech.

 Overview:  This day will identify the key physiological requirements for successful, healthy and sustainable Belting as uniquely identified by the Estill Model. It is specifically designed for those who are new to Belting and who are looking for explanations about Belting technique. It will also address the myths concerning the supposed dangers of Belting and where to best use this exciting voice quality.

The day will include:

•   Short introduction to the Estill Model

•   Overview of the physiology of Belting

•   Video and audio examples

•   ‘How to’ session and problem solving

•   Short master class

Anne-Marie is one of the most experienced teachers of Belt and the Estill Model in the UK and Europe and presented the first Belting workshop based on the Estill Model in the UK in 1997.

This 3 day intensive course in the Estill Model (Level 1, Compulsory Figures) is aimed mainly at voice over (dubbing) professionals although it is open to any person who has interest in learning more about the voice. As always, participants will have the opportunity to apply the model to their particular field of work, in this case the dubbing studio, in both sung and spoken voice. There will also be the chance to practice the work in harmony singing.

 This course of 20 two hour sessions in the Estill Voice Model for begins with workshops in anatomy, physiology and acoustics and continues by covering Jo Estill’s Compulsory figures for Vocal Control. On this occasion, it is aimed particularly at voiceover and dubbing professionals working mainly in the studio. Students will have the opportunity to put each of the figures into practice and to apply the model to their particular work environment. There will also be a chance to practise the model in group singing using harmonic music and chants.

Its open to anyone with an interest in learning about the voice, f.ex. singers, voiceteachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc. Its prerequisite that you have already completed Lev One.
 
The course begins with an introduction to the Voice Qualities and an overview of the evolution of the Estill Voice Model. After a short review of the figures in Lev One we will work us through all the voice qualities, speech, falsetto, sob, twang, belting and opera - by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing in different genres of music.
 
The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.
 
If you register for both Lev One and Two in Berlin you pay 600 euro - save 50 euro.

Level One Figures for Voice teaches the tools of the craft to add strength, clarity, flexibility, and stamina to your voice! Participants will use Estill Voice Training’s innovative Figures for Voic to learn control of the vocal structures that influence voice quality. Each Figure employs exercises that will give you new vocal options for all styles speaking and singing Students will learn EVT’s Figures.

Level Two teaches how to combine the Level One Figures to produce the six different voice qualities: Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera and Belting. It offers a clear understanding of the voice’s limitless possibilities. Students learn to integrate this qualities in our own repertoire, either pop, rock, musical, soul, jazz, classical music or other and even into everyday speech.

Course will be in Italian language. Course Material in English with italian translation on Dvd.
