 The Level One course teaches the tools to control vocal instrument. Students will learn EVT’s Figures to use better vocal structures are useful to sing every musical genre or to play every character. 

Figures for Voice Control

This course can be attended by singers of all kinds of styles, choral conductors, actors, drama coaches, speech pathologists, vocal coaches and professional speakers. Jo Estill developed a system where you can learn to use your voice in a safe and healthy way, improve your technique, acquire possibilities you never imagined to reach.

We work in plenum and practice groups to analyse all sounds of the voice, and see how the voice works anatomically and acoustically, based on scientific research. We watch video’s and demonstrations to learn all the basic figures of Level One. In the Open Sessions we can implement our new knowledge immediately.

Marleen van Dijk is an English trained CCI from The Netherlands. Very experienced in classical, pop, jazz and musical and is also a very skilled pianist and actress.

Courses will be given in Dutch but can also be attended by English-speaking.

Every day a lunch will be provided, as well as coffee, tea e.g.

Deze cursus is geschikt voor zangers van alle soorten stijlen, koordirigenten, acteurs, dramadocenten, logopedisten, stemtrainers en professionele sprekers. Jo Estill heeft een systeem ontworpen waarmee je kan leren je stem te gebruiken op een veilige en gezonde manier, je techniek te verbeteren en mogelijkheden te ontwikkelen waarvan je niet eens wist dat je ze kon bereiken.

We werken in plenaire groep, alsook in kleinere oefengroepen om alle stemgeluiden te analyseren en te ontdekken hoe de stem werkt, anatomisch en akoestisch, gebaseerd op wetenschappelijk onderzoek. We bekijken video’s en demonstraties om alle basisfiguren van Niveau Een aan te leren. In de Open Sessies kunnen we de nieuw verkregen kennis direct toepassen.

Marleen van Dijk is een in het Engels getrainde CCI uit Nederland. Zij is zeer ervarin in Klassiek, pop, jazz en musical en is ook een zeer getalenteerd pianiste en actrice.

De cursus wordt gegeven in het Nederlands, maar is ook geschikt voor Engelstaligen.

Elke dag wordt een zeer rijke lunch verzorgd, alsmede koffie, thee en andere versnaperingen.

 Este curso de cinco días empieza con una introducción al modelo de la voz de Jo Estill y a su historia y con un taller de anatomía y fisiología. Durante los próximos tres días, se presentarán las figuras obligatorias que componen el sistema. A continuación, sobre los proximos dos dias, se presentarán las 6 calidades vocales del Nivel 2 (Voz Hablada, Falsete, Llorar/Llanto, ‘Twang’, Belt y Opera.)

 Habrá algún énfasis en el uso de las figuras y calidades en logopedia, aprovechando la experiencia del profesorado en patologías vocales. También se aprovecha para practicar las figuras del modelo en canto armónico.

 Los asistentes tendrán la posibilidad de practicar en grupos pequeños con ayudantes titulados. Cada día habrá una sesión abierta donde los participantes podrán aplicar el sistema (trabajo) a su propia “performance” sea Po, Jazz, Teatro Musical, Ópera o la voz hablada.

 El curso está abierto a cualquier artista, cualquier persona que usa la voz profesionalmente, médicos y logopedas y cualquier persona que quiere conocer más de su voz y disfrutarla.

CMT Corinne Morini will lead you through an Introduction to Estill Voice Training.  There is no prerequisite to attend this workshop.  All are welcome, trained or untrained, beginners to advanced  singers, actors, teachers, and students.  We will explore the guiding principles behind the Estill model and answer your questions concerning what is unique about this model and what makes it healthy and reliable.  We will experience as a group a few of the Figures for Voice Control in anticipation of what you'll discover during a full 5-day Level 1 and 2 Course.  The next 5-day Level 1 and 2 course in Austria is set for Graz,  July 16th-20th 2012, with CCI Gerald Marko. This course is presented by Helga Westmark & Dorte Hyldstrup, who were two of the first Certified Course Instructors in Europe. Description

Open to anyone, who took the Estill Level One course, e.g. singers, voice teachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc. The course begins with an introduction to the Estill Voice Model and an overview of this course. We will work us through all the voice qualities, speech, falsetto, sob, twang, belting and opera - by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing and different genres of music.

The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.

El proposito del curso es aprender combinaciónes de las Figuras Obligatorias aprendidos en el curso de Estill Nivel 1 para realizar las 6 Calidades Vocales: Speech,Falsetto, Cry/Sob, Twang, Opera y Belt.

.•Dirigido a: cantantes, actores, periodistas, foniatras, logopedas y, en general, profesionales de la voz.

•Metodología: Práctica y participativa. El curso se desarrollará con sesiones en gran grupo y en pequeños grupos de 6/8 personas.El trabajo alterna sesiones de teoría con la practica de Calidades y hay la oportunidad de aplicar el trabajo a canciones y textos en una sesión de Master Class con pianista para los cantantes.

•Se aconseja a los participantes del curso traer un texto o canción para utilizar en estas sesiones

•Plazas limitadas: máximo 32 asistentes y mínimo 17. Inscripción por orden de fecha de ingreso en cuenta de la cuota de inscripción.

•Acreditación: Se entregará certificado de Estill Voice Training a los asistentes a la totalidad de las sesiones

•(Para realizar el nivel II es necesario haber realizado el nivel I en cualquier edición anterior y acreditarlo)

Alberto ter Doest geeft op u op zeer enthousiaste en toegankelijke wijze inzicht in de technieken van Estill Voice Training. Tijdens de level 2 cursus gaan we verder de diepte in. Ook in level 2 kiezen we voor een zeer praktische aanpak zodat u ook na de cursus weet hoe u verder kunt oefenen met het materiaal.

Deze cursus is ook te combineren met level 1, in het weekend van 20,21 2n 22 april.
