Estill Voice Training (Voice Craft) es una aproximación sistemática a la enseñanza de la voz, para mejorar el rendimiento de la voz profesional cantada y hablada. Ofrece a los participantes las herramientas para descubrir la belleza en todas las voces mediante la producción de sonido a través de la práctica de los ejercicios de 13 Figuras (Nivel 1) y 6 Calidades de la Voz (Nivel 2).

Es un trabajo que trata de entrenar la voz tomando en cuenta su naturaleza como sistema dinámica de equilibrios entre la potencia (aire), la fuente (tono) y el filtro (resonancia).Se descubre como activar con independencia las estructuras en el mecanismo vocal, la cabeza y cuello y torso, y entender como afectan estos cambios al sonido y confort de la producción de la voz. El entrenamiento de Estill permite al intérprete fortalecer la voz y lograr una flexibilidad para realizar cualquier tarea vocal de forma optima, segura y saludable.

El curso combina sesiones de teoría con la práctica en grupos pequeños.

Hay la oportunidad de aplicar el trabajo a canciones y textos en sesiones Master Class.  .

Nivel 1  - Objetivos específicos:

-Conocer las diferentes maneras de utilizar la voz sin forzarla.

-Mejorar la calidad vocal al aplicar las Figuras Obligatorias.

-Ofrecer a artistas, profesionales de la voz, terapeutas y otras personas interesadas la posibilidad de encontrar nuevos “colores vocales”.

-Reducir la ansiedad ante el uso vocal profesional.

This first-ever North American CMT-CCI Summit will be held over the 2 days leading into the National Association of Teachers of Singing Convention (June 29 to July 3) at the Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld resort.

CCIs will meet in a private session from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  CMTs & CCIs will gather for a lively exchange of Estill Voice Training pedagogy and practice on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

We hope that many Estill attendees will remain to participate in the NATS Convention.

This course is for anyone who would like to improve their singing or speaking voice—singers, actors, vocal coaches, drama instructors, Speech-Language Pathologists and other vocal health professionals.
Level One: Figures for Voice™ teaches the tools of the craft to add strength, clarity and stamina to your voice! Participants will use EVT’s innovative Figures for Voice™ to learn control of the vocal structures that influence voice quality. Each Figure employs exercises that will give you new vocal options for all styles speaking and singing. Level Two combines the Figures from Level One to produce six voice qualities: Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera, and Belting. Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™ offers a clear understanding of the voice’s limitless possibilities, along with how to keep it vibrant and healthy. Throughout the day, the new voice skills are practiced in small group sessions. There will also be ample time for questions, discussion, and work on individual repertoire or case studies.

Description

This Advanced 1 course is mostly for people who have attended Level One & Two courses in Finland. The course will focus on repetition and more advanced exercises of Level One & Two and analysis of problems & solutions/Pedagogical issues. We will mostly work practically and integrate figures and qualities into music and also have time to focus on individual coaching/training. Artistry and diction will be a part of individual singing.

This Level Two Course (Qualities) , led by Tom Burke with Robert Sussuma's assistance, will bring focus to the fun while exploring Estill's 6 Basic Voice Qualities (Speech, Falsetto, Twang, Belt, Sob and Opera). This Course will also serve as prelude to the more nuanced and detailed work of the Level One Course (Figures and Combinations) to be held in July.  This course will include discussion, presentations, open coachings and more.  All are welcome!   

Deze dag is bedoeld voor iedereen die al eens een Level 1 en/of Level 2 gevolgd heeft. Het is bedoeld om de al opgedane kennis op te frissen en te verdiepen.

Er wordt ruim aandacht besteed aan individuele vaardigheden en het toepassen van de Figuren en Kwaliteiten in muziek. 

Gedurende de dag zullen oplossingen voor veel voorkomende problemen worden gegeven, en natuurlijk is er ruim de gelegenheid om vragen te stellen en cases uit de eigen ervaring en praktijk voor te leggen aan de Course Instructor. 

 De ochtendsessie is bedoeld voor iedereen die Level 1 gevolgd heeft. In deze sessie zullen alle Figuren nogmaals behandeld worden.

De middagsessie is voor deelnemers die ook een Level 2 cursus gevolgd hebben. Tijdens deze sessie zullen alle Kwaliteiten nogmaals behandeld worden.

This course is presented by Dorte Hyldstrup - one of Europe´s most experienced Estill Voice Training Course Instructors. 

Its open to anyone with an interest in learning about the voice, f.ex. singers, voiceteachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc.

The course begins with an introduction to the Voice Qualities and an overview of the evolution of the Estill Voice Model. After a short review of the figures in Lev One we will work us through all the voice qualities, speech, falsetto, sob, twang, belting and opera - by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing in different genres of music.

The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open session (working individually with your own repertoire)

In deze workshop beschouwen we de 13 Figuren van Level Een en de 6 Kwaliteiten van Level Twee in een vogelvlucht. We maken kennis met de theorie en de praktische mogelijkheden van de bouwstenen van het Estill Voice Training Systeem.

De Verplichte Stem Figuren is een innovatieve methode om stemmen te trainen van alle leeftijden, die gebruikt kunnen worden voor elke willekeurige stijl.
 
 De 13 Figuren, waaronder Toonaanzet, Verhemelte Controle, Strottenhoofdstanden en Stembandmassa geven met hun variatiemogelijkheden 37 verschillende opties.
 
 Deze zijn gemakkelijk aan te leren en maakt dat zelfs kinderen en mensen die nog nooit gezongen hebben gemakkelijk alle verschillende Figuren en Kwaliteiten kunnen produceren. De basis is, weten wat er fysiologisch en anatomisch gedaan moet worden om de diverse klanken te verkrijgen.
  
Tijdens deze Introductie wordt er ook kort aandacht besteed aan akoestiek en perceptie van de stem. Deze onderdelen dragen bij aan het begrijpen van het gebruik van de stem.
  
De cursus is toegankelijk voor iedereen die meer over de stem wil weten, ongeacht achtergrond; voor zangers, zangdocenten, acteurs, coaches, managers, trainers, sprekers, logopedisten, koordirigenten en koorzangers.
