This course is presented by Helga Westmark & Dorte Hyldstrup, who were two of the first Certified Course Instructors in – so-called Vanguards. Description:

This course is open to anyone, who took the EVT Level One Course. Its relevant to all voice users, e.g. singers, voiceteachers, actors, choirleaders, clinical voice professionals etc. The course begins with a short repetition of Compulsory Figures for Voice, and an overview of this course. Then we will work on the 6 Voice Qualities in Level Two, (Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera and Belting). During these 2 days we will practice together and individually in small groups, integrating the qualities in singing and applying them to different genres of music. The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.

Please note that if you would like to take both the Level One and Two Courses running at the Sibelius Academy together, attending June 14-18, you will pay only 705 euro (a discount of 65 euro).

Open to anyone who has already taken the Estill Level One course – singers, voice teachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc. The course begins with an overview of the development of the Estill Voice Model and an overview of this course. We will then work through all the voice qualities, speech, falsetto, sob, twang, belting and opera – by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing and different genres of music. The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open session.

Estill Nivel 1, Las Figuras Obligatorias para el Control de la Voz, consiste en entender, aislar y dominar la fisiología las estructuras anatómicas que contribuyen a la produ cción vocal.
La duración del curso permite dedicar tiempo a la aplicación de la técnica en la voz hablada y cantada (una asignatura complementaria ofrece una practica mas profunda en la aplicación al canto)
