Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities

In the Lev Two Course we combine the figures from Lev One into “recipes” for Six Voice Qualities: Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera, and Belting. The figure combinations offers a clear understanding of how to produce each quality in a healthy way regarding advantages, limitations and risks.

We will begin with a Lev One review and each quality will be integrated with a repertoire. The course will also include: Audio and video examples, practise sessions, discussions and individuel coaching in the “open sessions” where participants work with their own repertoire in songs/speech.

Advanced 1 - Repetition of Figures & Qualities and their variations/ pedagogical issues

This Advanced One Workshop is open for people who attended at least one Lev One & Two Course.

The focus will be on repetition of Lev One and Two, more advanced exercises, variations of the Voice Qualities and analysis of problems & solutions / pedagogical issues.

We will work practically and integrate figures and qualities into music and also have time to focus on individual coaching/training.

This course is presented by Dorte Hyldstrup - one of Europe´s most experienced Estill Voice Training Course Instructors. 

Its open to anyone with an interest in learning about the voice, f.ex. singers, voiceteachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc.

The course begins with an introduction to the Voice Qualities and an overview of the evolution of the Estill Voice Model. After a short review of the figures in Lev One we will work us through all the voice qualities, speech, falsetto, sob, twang, belting and opera - by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing in different genres of music.

The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open session (working individually with your own repertoire)

The Belting Workshop is open to anyone, who like to explore this fascinating Voice Quality.

It is not required that you have taken the EVT Level One & two courses.

We will focus on essential Estill tools to develop a safe belt voice, and how to apply it to your own songs. The workshop will also cover typical problems and their solutions.

We will apply the Belting Quality to relevant songs within pop/jazz, soul, gospel and musical.

El método pretende despejar el misterio existente en el entrenamiento vocal.

El trabajo alterna sesiones de teoría con la practica de las figuras en grupos pequeños y hay la oportunidad de aplicar el trabajo a canciones y textos en sesiones tipo Master Class.
