Een complete cursus in het Nederlands onder leding van Alberto ter Doest. Hij zal  de laatste inzichten van het wereld sympoiium in Rome meenemen en met de cursisten delen. Een cursus waarin uitgelegd wordt hoe de stem werkt, hoe vanuit uw eigen situatie uw snel uw stem verbeterd, meer onder contrloe krijgt, beter en makkelijker gaat zingen, meer hoogte laagte en luidheid ontwikkelt. Kortom een geweldige kans om beter uw stem te gebruiken en te begrijpen wat er in andere methoden bedoeld wordt. Als researcher, zanger Artistiek Manager MT van Codarts, Conservatorium Rotterdam en hoofdvakdocent zang weet Alberto ter Doest iedereen te helpen om zijn of haar stem met plezier te gebruiken.

In the conservatory of Antwerpen we will organise a wonderful level one and two course by CCI Alberto ter Doest, Books, Material, Songsheets are included. At day 2 till 5 every afternoon there is a possibility to sing and work on material with an accompagnist. A course for singers, speech therapists, actors, presenters, choir conductors and profesional and amateur singers.

By learning three of the Estill Voice Training figures or exercises, you can sing more powerfully without strain on your vocal folds. You will apply the information that you learned through the diagrams , videos & exercises to your song or reading at the end of the session. Class size is limited to ensure individual attention. Level One: Compulsory Figures for Voice™ teaches the tools of the craft. Add strength, clarity, range, and stamina to your voice! Participants will use EVT’s innovative training Figures™ to control vocal structures that maximize versatility in speech and song. Level Two combines the Figures from Level One to produce six voice qualities: Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera, and Belting. Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™ offers a clear understanding of the voice’s limitless possibilities, along with how to keep it vibrant and healthy. Participants will apply their new skills in small group practice sessions. There will also be ample opportunity for questions, discussion, and open coaching sessions.

This workshop is offered over two weekends to accommodate those working on a week day schedule. The first weekend is the three day weekend, honoring Martin Luther King. That will allows sufficient time to complete Level I.. Having the week in between Levels also allows you to become a little more proficient at your Figures, before we apply them to the Voice Quality Recipes.

Estill Voice Training - Level II - Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities

In Level I you learn to control each of 13 different anatomical structures that effect the sound and power of your voice. Knowing  how to voluntarily adjust these 13 elements, allows you to combine them in different combinations or “Recipes”. Level II works with six voice qualities and explores their use in Folk Music, Jazz, Pop, Early Music,  Musical Theater Opera, country music, gospel, Rhythm & Blues , Ethnic and Choral singing.  Understanding how the figures effect your sound  and power also allows you greater breadth of dynamic expression, and character development.

The workshop involves Powerpoint presentations, endoscopic videos, anatomical models and slides. There are application activities and small group practices. There is a chance for individual attention in a master class format at the end of the instruction day.   The workbooks provide a complete summary of the Estill Vocal Training model. You will also learn how to read a spectragram and how it can be used to provide you with continuing feedback on how well you are executing the Voice Qualities.

Level I is a prerequisite for this course.

The course is aimed mainly for the singer, but is a valuable workshop for actors, speech pathologists and anyone who wants to gain maintain vocal health, and speak with confidence and expressive effectiveness.

Level One: Figures for Voice Control

Participants will be given a practical grounding in vocal technique, vocal anatomy and physiology, that will allow them to approach any vocal endeavour with confidence and skill. The Estill Voice Model teaches differentiated voluntary control of specific parts of the vocal mechanism and an understanding of vocal function.

Level Two: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities

Participants wil develop mastery of vocal qualities including Speech, Twang (nasal and clear), Falsetto, Opera and Belting. Applications to the singing and speaking voice will be practised. Hone your troubleshooting skills.

Leading Australian Ear-Nose-Throat Specialist, John Tomich will co-present the Endoscopy Day. Following an introductory talk on Videolaryngoscopic Biofeedback, participants will be given the unique opportunity to be endoscoped and literally see their voice (i.e. larynx) in action whilst performing various vocal tasks, Figures and Voice Qualities.

Este curso consiste en el trabajo de combinar las Figuras Obligatorias aprendidos en el curso de Estill Nivel 1 para realizar las 6 Calidades Vocales: Speech,Falsetto,Cry/Sob, Twang, Opera y Belt.

El ultimo día se realiza un Master Class con pianista, donde los participantes pueden trabajar individualmente la aplicación del método Estill en canciones y/o textos.

Se puede asistir como oyente al Master Class participantes que han cumplido el Nivel 1 y 2 en otros ocasiones.

Estill Nivel 1, Las Figuras Obligatorias para el Control de la Voz, consiste en entender, aislar y dominar la fisiología las estructuras anatómicas que contribuyen a la producción vocal.

El método pretende despejar el misterio existente en el entrenamiento vocal.

El trabajo alterna sesiones de teoría con la practica de las figuras en grupos pequeños y hay la oportunidad de aplicar el trabajo a canciones y textos en sesiones tipo Master Class.

Este curso intensivo de Nivel 2 del modelo Estill se dirige especialmente a logopedas y otros profesionales de terapias de la voz. Se repasará las Figuras Obligatorias aprendidas en Nivel 1 y a continuación se presentarán las 6 calidades del Nivel 2.

Los asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de practicar las calidades y hablar de su aplicación clinica tanto en general como en casos particulares.
