Open to anyone with an interest in learning about the voice, for example, singers, voice teachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc. The course begins with an introduction to the Estill Voice Model with Figures for Voice, and an overview of this course. We will then work through all the figures in Level One by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing and different genres of music.

The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.

Open to anyone, who took the Estill Level One course, singers, voice teachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc. The course begins with an overview of the evolution of the Estill Voice Model and an overview of this course. We will work us through all the voice qualities, speech, falsetto, sob, twang, belting and opera - by practising individually in small groups and integrating them into singing and different genres of music.

The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.

A fantastic day on learning how to use the figures for Lieder, Oratoria and Opera.

Two classical well know singers and EVT teachers wil present this day and adress alL the questions which might come up how to sing classical repertoire. Thsi will be a real training day, where we triain figures for vibrato, legato, focus, range, mezza di voce etc.. We wil sing repertoire from Lieder composers as well as Oratoria repertoire and we will end with Opera in different styles. All questions we be answered and the main focus will be on singing and training.

Description

This Advanced 1 course is mostly for people who have attended Level One & Two courses at Cantina Vocaal in Amsterdam. The course will focus on repetition and more advanced exercises of Level One & Two and analysis of problems & solutions/Pedagogical issues. We will mostly work practically and integrate figures and qualities into music and also have time to focus on individual coaching/training.

Een level one cursus in het Nederlands onder leiding van Alberto ter Doest (CCI) en Marja Reinders (CMT). Hij zal  de laatste inzichten van het wereld sympoiium in Rome meenemen en met de cursisten delen. Een cursus waarin uitgelegd wordt hoe de stem werkt, hoe vanuit uw eigen situatie uw snel uw stem verbeterd, meer onder contrloe krijgt, beter en makkelijker gaat zingen, meer hoogte laagte en luidheid ontwikkelt. Kortom een geweldige kans om beter uw stem te gebruiken en te begrijpen wat er in andere methoden bedoeld wordt. Als researcher, zanger Artistiek Manager MT van Codarts, Conservatorium Rotterdam en hoofdvakdocent zang weet Alberto ter Doest iedereen te helpen om zijn of haar stem met plezier te gebruiken, geassisteerd door Marja Reinders, (Docent Zang Artez Conservatorium Enschede)

In Amsterdam we will organise a wonderful level one course by CCI Alberto ter Doest, Books, Material, Songsheets are included. Every afternoon there is a possibility to sing and work on material with an accompagnist. A course for singers, speech therapists, actors, presenters, choir conductors and profesional and amateur singers.
