It´s open to anyone with an interest in learning about the voice, f.ex. singers, voiceteachers, actors, clinical voice professionals etc.

We will begin with an introduction to the Estill Voice Model, then work with all the figures in Level One by practising individually in small groups and integrate the "figures" into singing/speaking in different genres.

The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.

Esta enfocado hacia  los que no han hecho nunca un curso de Voice Craft pero tambien abierto a los que quieren repetir y  profundizar sus conocimientos del modelo. Está especialmente adaptado para estos terapeutas que trabajan o esperan trabajar con la voz profesional tanto de artista  (cantantes, actores ,,,) como de profesor, abogado, telefonista, cura ……

Incluye sesiones en anatomía, fisiología y acústica y la presentación de las Figuras Obligatorias de Control de la Voz descritas por Jo Estill. Los asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de practicar las figuras y hablar de su aplicación clinica tanto en general como en casos particulares.

This intensive course in the Estill Voice Model is aimed particularly at Speech therapists and other professionals connected with voice therapy. It includes sessions in anatomy, physiology and acoustics in addition to presenting Jo Estill’s Compulsory figures for Vocal Control. Students will put each of the figures into practice and discuss their clinical application. There will also be the opportunity to discuss individual case hstories.

Description:

This course is open to anyone, who took the EVT Level One Course. Its relevant to all voiceusers, e.g. singers, voiceteachers, actors, choirleaders, clinical voice professionals etc. The course begins with a short repetition of Compulsory Figures for Voice, and an overview of this course. Then we will work on the 6 Voice Qualities in Level Two, (Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera and Belting). During these 2 days we will practice together and individually in small groups, integrating the qualities in singing and applying them to different genres of music. The days will alternate between classroom presentations, practice sessions in small groups and open sessions.

This Advanced 1 course is only for people who have attended Level One & Two courses. The course will focus on repetition and more advanced exercises of Level One & Two, some variations of qualities and analysis of problems & solutions/Pedagogical issues. We will mostly work practically and integrate figures and qualities into music and also have time to focus on individual coaching/training.

The Belting Workshop is open to anyone, who like to explore this fascinating Voice Quality.

It is not required that you have taken the EVT Level One & two courses.

We will focus on essential Estill tools to develop a safe belt voice, and how to apply it to your own songs. The workshop will also cover typical problems and their solutions.

We will apply the Belting Quality to relevant songs within pop/jazz, soul, gospel and musical.

Figures for Voice Control

This course can be attended by singers of all kinds of styles, choral conductors, actors, drama coaches, speech pathologists, vocal coaches and professional speakers. Jo Estill developed a system where you can learn to use your voice in a safe and healthy way, improve your technique, acquire possibilities you never imagined to reach.

We work in plenum and practice groups to analyse all sounds of the voice, and see how the voice works anatomically and acoustically, based on scientific research. We watch video’s and demonstrations to learn all the basic figures of Level One. In the Open Sessions we can implement our new knowledge immediately.

Marleen van Dijk is an English trained CCI from The Netherlands. Very experienced in classical, pop, jazz and musical and is also a very skilled pianist and actress.

Courses will be given in Dutch but can also be attended by English-speaking.

Every day a lunch will be provided, as well as coffee, tea e.g.

Figuren voor stemcontrole 

Deze cursus is geschikt voor zangers van alle soorten stijlen, koordirigenten, acteurs, dramadocenten, logopedisten, stemtrainers en professionele sprekers. Jo Estill heeft een systeem ontworpen waarmee je kan leren je stem te gebruiken op een veilige en gezonde manier, je techniek te verbeteren en mogelijkheden te ontwikkelen waarvan je niet eens wist dat je ze kon bereiken.

We werken in plenaire groep, alsook in kleinere oefengroepen om alle stemgeluiden te analyseren en te ontdekken hoe de stem werkt, anatomisch en akoestisch, gebaseerd op wetenschappelijk onderzoek. We bekijken video’s en demonstraties om alle basisfiguren van Niveau Een aan te leren. In de Open Sessies kunnen we de nieuw verkregen kennis direct toepassen.

Marleen van Dijk is een in het Engels getrainde CCI uit Nederland. Zij is zeer ervarin in Klassiek, pop, jazz en musical en is ook een zeer getalenteerd pianiste en actrice.

De cursus wordt gegeven in het Nederlands, maar is ook geschikt voor Engelstaligen.

Elke dag wordt een zeer rijke lunch verzorgd, alsmede koffie, thee en andere versnaperingen.

This is a practical course where you experience creating the six voice qualities associated with Estill Voice Training: speech, falsetto, sob, twang, opera and belt. Discussion focuses on how to mix these qualities safely and how to apply them artistically in different genres. Presentations will be combined with small group practice sessions and master classes. As well as teachers and students of performance, this course will also be of interest to speech and language therapists with voice clients. Level Two is only for those who have already completed Level One.
